Ai Weiwei
Video: Who's Afriad of Ai Weiwei?
This short film explains the work and life of the artist Ai Weiwei (who is mentioned in the B.R.A. website for his work with the sunflower seeds - also mentioned in the video). His work and 'tribulations' with the Chinese government raise poignant questions about the role of social media, technology, and the potential for these mediums within the arts to promote a new kind of awareness and reflection.
